This place is on the former grounds of Keisuke's sukiyaki shop, and I dismissed it when I first saw it, thinking that its ambiguous name and confusing menu meant that it didn't know what it wanted to be (11 Kee Seng Street #01-01). But I've been back three times, as they do an impressively good job of handling their food.

One starts by choosing from three different broths, all of which were rather savory. That comes with a separate tray containing your choice of protein, fiber and carbs. That grilled chicken above was tender and nicely seasoned, and they didn't overcook the rice either. There isn't a particular type of cuisine to pin it down to, but I liked it, and it was healthy too.

The thing that did bother me though was all of their thick disposable packaging. Granted, most of it was eco-friendly material, but they oddly insisted on giving out lids for those stackable bowls, even when one was dining in. I wonder if they had some kind of a deal with a packaging supplier or something.
