Sahebs - The Indian Restaurant at Claymore Connect

Yum! This place was pretty good, particularly that green thing in the midddle (442 Orchard Road #01-01). It is called pind da saag, which is made of spinach and mustard leaves with corn, butter, and ginger. And it was deceptively spicy, so much that they provided little chunks of jaggery for you to bite into to offset the heat. It was salty and earthy, going great with a gritty cornmeal-based flatbread called makki ki roti. We had a few other things today, including a fish tikka that admittedly wasn't as fresh as it could be but was still edible. What's interesting is that they offer two different types of butter chicken; I'd like to try the spicier Pandara Road version next time.
