Dresden Part 2

On our last day in Dresden, we went up the Schwelbahn a suspended funicular.  It connects the districts of Loschwitz and Oberloschwitz.  It is one of the oldest suspension railways.  It opened in 1901.  The view from the top is spectacular as it gives you a complete view of Dresden.  Afterward, we went to Dresdener Molkerei Milch Pfund shop.  It was named by the Guinness Book of Records of the prettiest milk shops in the world.  The shop opened in 1879 and while you can buy cheese, caramels,  and milk soaps it is most known for the Villeroy Boch tiles that adorn its walls.  While we didn't buy any cheese, I can attest that the caramel is wonderful.  Then we continued to meander through the street looking at the various street art. The girls found a sweet little fox made of tiles.   We worked up an appetite and so Winston took us to a place that he had eaten at called the Evil Burrito.  The owner is American, what Winston didn't know was that owner comes from a town one over from us here in Georgia.  She has lived in Germany now for twenty plus years.  She is super nice!  After lunch we grabbed some treats at the grocery store, and made our way back to the car.  Next stop Erfurt!
