On the former grounds of Matsuri Spicy Herbal Soup (1 Tras Street #01-07) lies a new Thai boat noodle restaurant. I went for the six bowls above, rotating through the various noodle and protein possibilities. The thing that I liked the most about it was how surprisingly smoky it all was. The thing that I liked the least about it was how surprisingly tangy (read: sweet) it all was. Fortunately, it was just the right degree of spiciness for me at the "normal" setting, so I still ate it all. But I'd rather go to the boat noodle shops at Golden Mile or Sim Lim Square.
