My routing back to Asia today was via Charles de Gaulle. It was supposed to be a pretty lengthy layover too, which got me excited about spending the afternoon eating my way through the city. But between the long delayed flight out of the US and my fumbling around the airport here, I only ended up getting 30 minutes in town. So whatever I was going to eat, it had to be fast.

That was OK though, since one of the places that I wanted to go to was this little standing bar that one could just walk into for a quick bite (3 Carr de l'Odéon). Those Basque txistorra sausages above did the job, but I wish I could've taken my time here to go through more items, not to mention check out their sister outlets focusing on things like seafood.
