Hi!  I am kind of backtracking with this post, but on our way to Texas, we stopped overnight in New Orleans.  They are only good for 7-8 hours in the car and then they are good, and to be honest that is all I am about good for now too.  The kids had fun walking down the French Quarter and seeing St. Louis Cathedral.  We finished our visit with benet's from Cafe Du Monde before we continued our journey to Houston.  One of the fun things that happened was that as we were eating our benet's was that there was a jazz band playing right outside and so the children got to hear music that is pretty typical of the area.  Well, I have a ton to do today and the children are going to walk in the door any minute from school, so I need to run.  Have a great day!
