Hong Kong’s Sushi Raku Has Opened in Singapore
What is up with all of the sushi chains coming in from HK lately? The
Itacho folks just opened up this one (252 North Bridge Road #B1-63). I think they were trying to go more upscale, but it wasn't up there with Ganko nor
Sen-Ryo either. Just to be sure, I ordered that S$40 (US$30) set to see how it compared to yesterday.
Perhaps to no surprise, one got more quantity but less quality, the difference of which was particularly noticeable in the quality of the
uni. Of course, it was still better than
Sushiro, but if I'm going to pay the same price, I'd rather go to
Ganko. They certainly made everything look very pretty here though.
