Hello!  How are you?  I hope you are all doing well.  We are back from our 8-day adventure to Poland and back.  On our way to Poland, we stopped overnight in the city of Leipzig.  Our son Winston, served part of his mission in this city last year and those who he met were gracious hosts.  Battle of the Nations is a monument to commemorate those who lost their lives in the battle of 1813 against Napoleon.  It was the beginning of the end of Napoleon and his reign.  The monument was built in 1913 to mark the 100 year anniversary.  It is very impressive and offers a fantastic view of the city from the top.
