Trying Out Some Omnimeat

I noticed these in passing at the market the other day, and picked up a pack out of sheer curiosity to see how it stacked up against Impossible and Beyond. This one seems to be from Thailand, even though its marketing material keeps talking about its labs in Canada.
Anyway, I made some small patties out of it. It felt a bit oatmeal-like in its raw state, but it held its shape in the pan. And the good thing was that it didn't taste as synthetic as Beyond. But it also didn't taste much like meat either.
Indeed, the bouncy texture immediately conjured up thoughts of deep-fried aburaage tofu. To be clear, I like aburaage, so I kinda liked eating this too. But unlike Beyond and Impossible, this was more obviously like mock vegetarian meat.
