We went out to Katong V for lunch today because this place does homemade pasta and pizza (30 East Coast Road #01-01, 6440-0457). I liked how the kitchen generally tried to keep things light, with their crispy fried cauliflower perhaps being my favorite. Yet I just couldn't get excited about either the pasta nor pizza, both in terms of texture and how they were dressed. The ingredients were fine, and none of it was overdone, but it just wasn't so good that I'd go out of my way to get it again.
