Cats from Tangier {Morocco}

When you visit Morocco, you notice cats are everywhere. They are part of Moroccan streets and Moroccans everyday lives, often sunbathing in improbable places and looking at you with their charming eyes.

Each time I travel to Morocco, my cameras get full of Moroccan cats photography. I just can’t resist their cuteness and charm. I grew up in Morocco surrounded by cats in our house and in the streets, so no doubt seeing them always sets me in a happy mood.

Even if these pictures are cute and adorable, many street cats in Morocco suffer from hunger or illness as they live in difficult conditions. That’s why I always travel with a few packs of cat food and croquettes to feed the cats on the streets.

Moroccan cats can also be quite wild, so it’s best to not get too comfortable touching them, as the poor creatures can react with fear and hurt you.
