Hi!  How are you?  Did you have a good weekend?  We drove to the city of  Kassel which is about 1 hour 45 minutes from our house. I had been to Kassel about 18 years ago, but I was only there for a couple of hours, it was raining, cold, and I spent most of my time sitting in a cafe drinking hot cocoa and eating a piece of cake.  Does that count? I don't think so as I really didn't see any of the city.  I can't wait to share with you the photos from our trip.  The weather was lovely.  A perfect fall day!  Anyway, did you know it was my birthday two week ago. I won't tell you how old I am, but I will tell you I had a wonderful party at my mother-in-laws and my sister-in-law came along with her boyfriend .  My mother-in-law made Rouladen along with a cucumber salad followed by dessert.  In celebration of my birthday I want to pass along a free giveaway from Mixtiles.  Have you heard of them?  I hadn't until I saw an ad I think on Instagram.  I was a little weary at first because I didn't know if I should believe that the tiles could really stick over and over and if they would be safe for our walls.  We are living in an apartment here in Germany and the walls are brick, so that makes it hard to hang up things. I also didn't want to leave any damage that I would later have to repair when we move out.  Their video was so convincing though that I thought I would give them a try.  Unfortunately, thy don't deliver outside the United States yet, so I had to have the shipped to my U.S. home and my husband brought them back with him when we went home for a business conference.  The tiles where more than I had hoped for!  They were perfect!  The images were sharp and really stood off the tiles, and like they promised the tile were super simple to hang.  You just peal the back off the stickers off and stick them on the wall. They also can also restick like they promise, so if you don't like where you placed your tile than no worries because you can place it somewhere else.  So after purchasing my Mixtiles the company was so sweet to contact me to see how I liked my tiles.  I told them that I loved them so much that I wanted to write a post about them and asked if they would be willing to do a giveaway with me.  They said no problem .  So here is the catch -you have to have an iPhone and you have to live in the United States.  Just download the app on to your phone.  They would like to give 5 tiles to one lucky winner.  Just leave a comment below and next Sunday I will pick a winner.   You will love them!  3 months later and I still love them as much as I did on the day that I unboxed them.
