Ludwigsburg Schloss located just 14 km north of Stuttgart is a perfect way to spend a fall day.  The day was perfect and the best part was that it wasn't too cold nor was it too hot.  As baby bear says in the story of Goldilocks and the three bears,"It was just right."  We drove down on Friday night and stayed in a neighboring down where we met my sister-in-law and her son for dinner.  Then on Saturday morning we drove to the schloss where we had the opportunity to see the pumpkin festival. This years theme was Rome. The children had a blast.  The kurbis ice cream and waffles weren't too shabby either. While we could have definetly have eaten dinner there, we drove to a near by beer garten where the chldren had fun playing on the play equipment.
