Salted egg yolk has been a bit of a thing here in Singapore lately, and as I noticed tonight when walking through 7-Eleven, it has now made its way into packaged potato chips via a local brand here. The chips were sliced paper thin though, which for me wouldn't have been my first choice (I'm one of those people that prefers the unsalted variant of Kettle Potato Chips because I prefer to taste those thick cuts of potato, not the flavoring). But ultimately they got the salted egg yolk taste good enough such that I admittedly had trouble stopping myself from eating it too.
